2025 To Do/Due Planners are back and better than ever!

When utilized correctly, the To Do/Due Planner should help you keep track of when things are due and make the doing of those things more manageable over a reasonable amount of time.

Four To Do/Due Planners in Blue, Leaf Green, Black and White, and Violet Ombre on the top row with inside planner images on the bottom row

How to use this planner: The top half is where you put what you need to do and the bottom half is when something is due.

An example: You have a paper due on the 15th so you write “paper due in class” on the bottom half due box on the 15th. Instead of trying to write and print your paper the day (or night) before, break out your paper into chunks to work on in sensible increments.

So, you might start your rough outline on the 5th, write your introduction on the 6th, write paragraph 1 on the 6th, paragraphs 2 and 3 on the 7th, visit the Writing Lab or have a Peer Review on the 8th, complete edits on the 9th, write your conclusion on the 10th, have one final Writing Lab or Peer Review on the 11th, and print and put your paper in your backpack on the 12th. You’ll notice there are three extra days between the actual due date and working on this paper one day at a time; this allows for “life,” a day or two of rest, or extra time to get into the Writing Lab if they require an appointment.

Who should use this planner: This planner is great for students in middle school, high school, college, university, graduate school, and even professionals who like having a planner that allows them to keep track of the process of their tasks. The write in dates allow you to be intentional and aware of dates of importance to you. This reinforces committing these dates to memory and helps visual and tactile thinkers process this information as well.

Fun fact: The To Do/Due Planner was created by Amy (aka Eliza) who utilized it as a tool when she tutored college athletes.
